Position: Project Manager - Fineos Implementation
Job Overview
The Project Manager will oversee the implementation of the Fineos software tool within the client’s environment. This role requires managing project timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful deployment and stabilization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Fineos and a deep understanding of insurance software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Management:
- Develop comprehensive project plans specifically for Fineos implementation, outlining scope, schedule, resources, and deliverables.
- Monitor and track project progress, making adjustments as necessary to stay on schedule.
- Manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies to ensure successful implementation.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the Fineos implementation aligns with business objectives.
- Facilitate regular status meetings and provide detailed project reports.
- Team Leadership:
- Coordinate and lead project team members, including internal staff and Fineos consultants.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to ensure project milestones are met.
- Budget Management:
- Prepare and manage project budgets related to Fineos implementation, ensuring all financials are tracked and within allocated limits.
- Approve project expenditures and report financial performance to senior management.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all Fineos project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
- Conduct regular project reviews and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in project management with at least 2-3 years focused on Fineos implementation.
- Proven track record of managing insurance software implementation projects.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Specific experience with Fineos configuration, customization, and deployment.
