Role : Reg Reporting - Business Analyst / PMO / Operations manager (BaU Reporting)
Location : Gurugram, Bengaluru, Hyderabad or Chennai
Experience range : 5 to 10 years
Availability : 0 – 90 days
Responsibilities:
- Drive the alignment and review of the target operating model across all relevant processes, ensuring consistent operations and strong collaboration among Finance, Risk, and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate Finance delivery programs to meet milestones, effectively communicate business impacts and key decisions, and engage all affected teams while maintaining regulatory confidence in bank's practices
- Drive /influence change initiatives by collaborating with Finance and other functions, ensuring the right talent is deployed for program success while managing leadership development and succession planning.
- Foster a high-performance culture aligned with firm's values, promoting diversity and effective communication on program progress, challenges, and decisions.
- Capital reporting, CCR, RWA calculations
- Manage the implementation of an efficient operating model and controls, ensuring effective operational risk assessments for new processes.
- Continuously evaluate design decisions and operational risks in light of changing regulations, market conditions, and technological advancements, while promoting the Group's Change Framework.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize and remediate data issues, chair governance meetings, and prepare briefings for Audit and Risk Committees while managing the team and service providers effective
- Engage with program sponsors and Finance ExCo to provide insights on delivery commitments, facilitating informed decision-making among senior executives.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across Finance and Risk to ensure clear understanding of program requirements, prioritization, and roadmap, while ensuring positive feedback from sponsors and stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver clear, concise communication to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment on project goals, updates, and key decisions while fostering an open dialogue for feedback and collaboration.
Challenges:
- Aligning program objectives with the implementation of new regulatory requirements while operating within budget constraints.
- Navigating potentially conflicting agendas, priorities, and timelines across various functions and dependent programs, as well as across different geographic and regulatory jurisdictions.
- Integrating functional requirements and delivery commitments while considering the limitations of legacy global IT architecture.
- Executing a major change initiative in a cost-effective way, while promoting a simplification agenda.
Requirements
- Finance graduate (preferred CA or MBA Finance)
- Experience with concepts of Capital reporting, Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR), Reference data management
- Extensive experience in successfully implementing or sponsoring regulatory changes within Finance or Risk environments.
- Strong background in accounting and regulatory practices, particularly in reporting and all aspects of regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional skills in relationship management, collaboration, and influencing stakeholders.
- Proven ability to drive teamwork across Finance and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Deep understanding of cross-functional operations and experience.
- High levels of motivation, commitment, and a focus on operational excellence.
- Familiarity with bank Group structures, values, behaviors, processes, and objectives.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the external regulatory landscape, including political and competitive factors.
- Relevant understanding of the Group’s Finance function across multiple locations.
- Insight into the Finance operating model at Group, Business, and Country levels
