Bilingual(Japanese) Technical | Associate Director

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team of developers and coordinate their efforts to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  2.  Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
  3. Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  4. Develop project plans, set realistic timelines, and manage resources effectively to meet project goals and deliverables.
  5. Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust software applications, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  6. Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to established guidelines.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, working closely with the team to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  8. Stay updated with the latest technologies, trends, and industry best practices, and provide recommendations for process improvements and innovation.

 

Requirements:

  1. Experience: 12+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership or technical lead role.
  2. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
  3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one of the following technologies: Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or any other relevant programming language. Experience with frameworks and tools such as Spring, .NET, Angular, React, or similar.
  4. Language Certification: Possess a JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) certification at level 2 or above.
  5. Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading and managing teams, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve project objectives.
  6. Project Management: Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, prioritize, and allocate resources effectively.
  7. Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly identify issues, propose solutions, and make sound decisions.
  8. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  9. Team Player: Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  10. Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  11. Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software development.
