Your work profile

 

As an  Assistant Manager in our Restructuring Services  Team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -

 

• Support senior team members in analyzing financial statements, conducting industry research, and building financial models.

• Assist in the preparation of client deliverables such as proposals, Information Memoranda, Teasers, and Pitch Decks under the guidance of senior colleagues.

• Development and refine of financial models, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client objectives.

• Assist the resolution professional in managing a CIRP / liquidation process including:

  • Prepare Information memorandum under Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code
  • Assist investors in due diligence and site visit
  • Assist the team in verification of claims under Insolvency process.
  • Visit the Plant of the company and ensure that everything is as per predefined program o Assist in verifying payments are as per agreed budget
  • Assist in managing operations of a Corporate Debtor on going concern basis
  • Assist in conducting liquidation of assets of a Corporate Debtor

• Participate in client meetings and presentations, gaining exposure to client interactions and communication skills.

• Contribute to the training and development of junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster their growth within the team.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information and insights for client engagements.

• Support business development efforts by participating in client pitches, proposal development, and market research activities.

• Stay updated with industry trends and developments, proactively seeking learning opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

• Adhere to firm's policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.

 

Candidates from other premier Investment Banks or Big 4, or with relevant prior experience will be preferred.

Educational and experience requirement

  • CA qualified/MBA (CFA and premier university preferred)
    • 1 to 3 Years of relevant investment banking, equity research, private equity, restructuring or insolvency experience
    • Deep understanding of companies and transactions, as also of key metrics and industry benchmarks
    • Excellent academic track record
    • Strong report writing and reviewing skills, with an appropriate focus on attention to detail, conciseness and risk management
    • Strong excel skills - quick and accurate manipulation of data
    • Strong financial modelling skills and ability to own the model throughout the transaction process
    • Strong commercial acumen and market awareness
    • Good understanding of transaction documents and key negotiation items
    • Focused on high quality service
    • Fluency in written & verbal English
    • High commitment to deliver on every transaction process
    • Ability to multitask on multiple engagements

 

Location and way of working

  • Base location: Mumbai
  • This profile involves occasional travelling to client locations OR this profile does not involve extensive travel for work.
