Work you’ll do


As a Manager in our Risk Advisory team, you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams. You’ll:


  • Review and negotiation of all type of contracts (including but not limited to NDAs, proposals, engagement letters, sub-contracts, teaming agreements) across risk advisory including negotiation with clients and their legal advisors
  • Developing practical solutions for Deloitte’s business and client service teams, enabling them to provide client service while managing Deloitte’s risk
  • Supporting the Quality and Risk Management team in advising Deloitte ’s senior management and practitioners on general legal and risk management issues, based on an understanding and appreciation of the key business risks that need to be managed
  • Advising on and assisting the central legal team in determining contracting and negotiating guidelines and policies
  • Answering ad-hoc risk and legal queries from teams
  • Advising on matters relating to a variety of laws such as intellectual property rights, employment law matters, property law and others.
  • Analyzing the legal and regulatory requirements and assisting in the drafting of various policies for the organization.



The resource should have sound technical knowledge of a variety of laws and the practical working of the Indian legal system as well as exposure to cross-border legal and contractual matters.

Further, the ideal candidate would have:

  • Risk spotting ability – the resource must be able to quickly assess the risk areas and recommend ways of mitigating or managing them.
  • Analytical skills - should be able to use judgment, analyze facts and draw logical conclusions.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills – should be able to negotiate effectively and draft high-quality documents
  • Minimum 7 years, preferably in Services Sector IT or ITES, Consulting, Banking
