Your work profile

 

As a Deputy Manager in our Financial Modeling team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations. You’ll:

  • Take an active role in delivering advisory services to high growth organizations with a diverse team
  • Be a part of team to design, develop and test models taking into consideration various scenarios and sensitivities the model will be exposed to.
  • Actively execute model development / model review engagements.
  • Independently perform modeling work in secondment opportunities.
  • Executing assignments within deadlines, providing value add to clients, maintaining client relationship
  • Create long term relationships with Deloitte member firms
  • Achieve expertise in a specialization
  • Facilitate the integration process of new recruits
  • Take an active role in contribution to the working environment of the team

Desired qualifications

  • Academic achievements with preferably a Master’s Degree in Mathematical Finance, Financial Engineering or other relevant qualification (CA / CWA / MBA / CFA / CPA etc)
  • Preferable to have:
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience related to financial modeling
  • Strong excel skills - other relevant technical analytical skills could also be an advantage e.g. Excel VBA, Power BI, SQL, Power Query.
  • Knowledge of Advanced Excel, strong mathematical and quantitative skills
  • Having followings will be advantageous
  • Knowledge of Monte Carlo Simulation technique
  • Knowledge of Indian accounting standards / IFRS / US GAAP
  • Experience in using valuation tools, including Bloomberg, financial research portals etc.
  • Expected to possess:
  • Strong conceptualization skills and ability to convert plans to actions
  • Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills backed by an enthusiastic approach and a diligent client focus.
  • Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong external consulting or advisory experience is a plus

Location and way of working

  • Base location: Mumbai
  • This profile involves occasional travelling to client location
  • Hybrid is our default way of working. Each domain has customised the hybrid approach to their unique needs.
