Your work profile
As Consultant in our Cyber Team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -

As a Database Activity Monitoring Specialist, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our organization's sensitive data and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. You will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing database activity to detect and respond to potential security threats, as well as providing insights to enhance database security measures.

 

Key Responsibilities:

       Conduct real-time monitoring of database activities to identify suspicious or unauthorized access, queries, and transactions.

       Analyze logs and alerts generated by database monitoring tools to assess potential security incidents.

I      Investigate and respond to security incidents involving databases, coordinating with the Incident Response team as necessary.

       Collaborate with Database Administrators and Security teams to implement and enhance database security measures.

       Develop and maintain database security policies, procedures, and best practices.

       Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on databases to identify and address security weaknesses.

       Participate in the design and implementation of access control mechanisms for databases.

       Stay updated on industry trends and emerging threats related to database security

       Generate reports and provide recommendations for improving database security posture.

        Contribute to incident response plans and procedures related to database security incidents.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.

  • 3+years of experience in security operations, with a focus on managing SOC projects.

  • Proficient in network security, data security, application security, and endpoint security solutions.

  • Demonstrated experience in handling security audits and preparing audit documentation.

  • Proven ability to develop and implement SOC processes and SOPs.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and guide a team effectively.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

  • Ability to connect and communicate with the CISO and other senior stakeholders.

Preferred Certifications:

  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)

  • CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)

  • PMP (Project Management Professional)

  • CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
