The Sales and Pursuits Excellence supports strategically important tenders throughout the entire tendering phase. Always with the goal of maximizing the chances of winning for Deloitte.


Deloitte India’s Pursuit Management team works closely with the business and functional teams

across sectors to lead the development of bid strategies and persuasive bid deliverables for some of our most significant opportunities.

Work you’ll do


As a Pursuit strategist of our interdisciplinary Sales Excellence team, you would be expected to;

  • Support teams across various service lines in complex tendering procedures at all major Deloitte locations in Middle East as well as remotely; either in individual capacity or in collaboration with other members.
  • Support the creation of a differentiated pursuit strategy, develop a corresponding and goal-oriented pursuit plan and actively and transparently manage its fulfillment. This involves acting as a facilitator from pre-proposal to orals presentation stages, leading team discussions, creating compelling messages, brainstorming creative solutions to challenges, and identifying benefits for prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage quality, risk and leadership reviews, monitor the development of resource and pricing models and other specific proposal related deadlines to ensure on-time completion and a high level of quality, and, if necessary, escalate to the engagement partner
  • Assume ownership for the development of focused proposal language relating to client’s expectations and our organisation’s differentiators/competitive advantages. 
  • Ensure regular coordination within the pursuit team, coordinate the logistics and deal confidently with new requirements and plan changes and ensure that requests align with firm policies and brand standards.
  • Build relationships with business teams in all functions at all levels, and assure effective delivery of services; thereby bringing in best practices from other pursuits as well as your searches from the global pursuit network to close content gaps
  • Due to your proactive and service-oriented commitment, the engagement teams would be able to fully focus on the right solution and the optimal approach




  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience, preferably as a bid/proposal manager for large multinational professional services firm/third-party KPO/IT-BPO company/internal research/strategy teams within key technology companies
  • With your proactive hands-on mentality, you work goal-oriented and with a very high-quality standard – even under high time and success pressure
  • A team builder with excellent leadership skills, you spread a positive team atmosphere, take responsibility and resolve conflicts confidently and objectively
  • Strong understanding of job description, good stakeholder management and negotiating skills
  • Must be able to communicate professionally during stressful situations, maintaining composure and resolving problems effectively and positively
  • University degree in business administration or a comparable qualified education (BE/B.Tech/BBA/BCom/MBA preferred)
  • With your excellent English skills, you optimally support our teams and pursuits at all management levels
  • Proficiency in MS office suite (PPT, Word)
