Your work profile


As a Director in our Forensic & Disputes - ESG Team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -


Deloitte India is keen to hire a seasoned professional to work with the existing leadership team in the Environmental, Social & Governance practice. The objective is to bring a leader with strong experience who will help in executing Deloitte’s ESG portfolio offerings. Ideal candidate will be someone who is a subject matter expert in this space and have experience in leading large-scale engagements that includes strategy, implementation and managed support.

As a leader, you should be able to assist clients:

  • Enable ESG strategy, reporting and value creation through project management and strategic coordination across environmental and social subject matter professionals
  • Enable client in identifying and meeting ESG requirements, managing key internal and external stakeholders by demonstrating ESG and other business metrics to support ESG reporting, brand purpose communications.
  • Assisting clients in future proofing their businesses through implementation of decarbonization / low carbon pathway solutions

You will be responsible for the business P&L and the growth of the resources reporting into you

Desired qualifications

  • Postgraduate (Preferably Science / Engineering / Economics)
  • Professional experience of 10 years+
  • Commercial & business understanding around climate economics & scenarios through TCFD, cost of carbon and its impact on businesses, international regulations and policies for goods and services transaction
  • Cross sectoral understanding with deeper marketing skills with client centric approach
  • Should have strong advisory experience across geographies, with proven experience of leading high-performance teams
  • Experience of working with bilateral, multilateral agencies and governments

Location and way of working

  • Base location: Mumbai / Gurugram
  • This profile involves frequent travelling to client location
