We cover various Infrastructure sub-sectors like Roads & Highways, Aviation, Railways, Ports, Logistics, Future of Mobility, Industrial Infrastructure, Water Supply & Sanitation, Housing, Healthcare, Tourism, etc. Infrastructure practice supports and works with various government agencies  both at the national and sub-national levels,  multilateral and bilateral agencies including World Bank, ADB, GIZ, KfW, FCO/DFID, USAID as well as private sector agencies involved in the sector specifically focusing on the entire lifecycle of Public Partnership Projects.

 

Our professional services span a broad range including assisting clients on the entire lifecycle of Public Partnership Projects including sector strategies and policies, financial / commercial financial viability assessment, feasibility assessments, procurement management, regulatory & policy reviews etc.

 

 

Senior Executive / Assistant Manager – Infrastructure

Roles and Responsibilities

The desired resource is expected to contribute to the firm's growth and development in a variety of ways, including:

 

  • Project Delivery: Understand client requirements, project scope and deliverables; direct project delivery and client meetings under overall guidance of Managers and Directors; work with team members on Assess-Design-Develop-Deliver-Monitor process while taking ownership on  various modules / projects; team work and coordination with internal and external stakeholders etc. 
  • Engage in delivery of defined project objectives, leveraging past team experiences and Deloitte tools & methodologies
  • Business Development: assist the team in development of work opportunities, client requirement analysis, development of EoI/proposals, client presentations, etc.
  • Practice Development: Support in learning and development initiatives for the team/project/organization.
  • Thought Leadership: Contribute to research, analysis and delivery of thought leadership reports (global and domestic)
  • Coordinate with the rest of the verticals/ groups/ firm / global team to ensure successful pursuits / delivery of projects

 

Eligibility criteria and requirements:

  • Excellent education background with graduation in engineering/ planning/ management/ commerce/ economics. For AM post-graduation in related field would be desirable
  • Problem-solving capabilities and an attitude to leverage resources to best solve / address the task at hand
  • Self-motivated team player with ability to work with teams
  • Ability to seamlessly function across sectors, flexibility with extensive travelling and working from Client site. Willingness and adaptability to change
  • Effective business communication (written and oral) skills are a critical requirement and the individual must be able to interact effectively.

 

The practitioners are expected to:

Support in preparation of business case, feasibility studies, marketing collaterals etc.
- Advice on issues pertaining to Public-Private Partnerships across the project life cycle
- Assist in Transaction Advisory, Bid Advisory and Bid Process Management
- Preparation of robust financial models
- Review transaction documents and support the team though all stages the transaction or project execution phase
- Project manage the transaction process and be the primary point of contact for day to day matters
- Support on business development initiatives. Responsible for creation of pitch books and other deliverables
- High commitment to learn and deliver across the transaction lifecycle.
- Mentoring and supporting fellow team members on engagements

Eligibility criteria and requirements:

- Bachelors in engineering (in discipline: Civil/Mechanical/Electrical preferred) / Bachelors in planning and Post-graduation in management / MBA.
- 2-7 years of work relevant experience in Infrastructure finance and Public-Private Partnerships including experience related to business plan formulation, investment decisions and business case/techno-financial feasibilities preparation, project financing and funding, financial analysis and modeling, transaction advisory and similar work
- Excellent academic track record
- Strong report writing and reviewing skills, with an appropriate focus on attention to detail, conciseness and risk management
- Strong excel skills - quick and accurate manipulation of data and ability to create and review complex financial models and conduct valuations
- Strong commercial acumen and market awareness
- Focused on high quality service
- Fluency in written & verbal English
