Work you’ll do

 

As part of the Talent Relations team of Deloitte India, you will be responsible for fostering positive environment and relationships between the firm and its talent. You will be required to address talent specific concerns and take preventive measures to minimise such grievances. You will be required to partner with a range of stakeholders to provide a solution, assist with their business specific talent concerns and enable a positive work environment across the firm.

 

Your work profile

As a Manager in our Talent Relations team, you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with internal/external teams and stakeholders with the intention to exceed the expectations:

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations and mitigate risk to the firm and professionals.
  • Facilitate key Legal & Statutory compliances through the consultant ensuring 100% compliance on all aspects.
  • Provide guidance and support to management and Talent teams on labor law issues and assist in interpretation and application of labor laws and regulations within the firm with the help of external consultant.
  • Identify and assess potential legal risks related to labor laws and implement strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Participate in standards calls such as ISO compliances et al.
  • Support inquiries and documentation requirements for cases involving policy violations, behavioral misconduct, harassment, interpersonal conflicts, performance related issues etc.
  • Partner with various stakeholders like External compliance consultant, Internal compliance teams, Central Talent team, Ethics/Reputation & Risk Office, Legal, Finance, etc. as required, ensuring adherence to all the statutory compliances, and effectively navigating through the inquiries being undertaken.
  • Promptly address the notices received by the firm from Govt. authorities as well as employees or external persons.

 

Desired qualifications

  • Degree in Law/MBA(HR) from reputed institute. With 10-15 years of experience in similar field.
  • Previous experience and strong understanding in handling the statutory compliances/labor laws.
  • A critical thinker who constantly questions the status quo.
  • Open and flexible in your approach, able to adapt quickly to changing business needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.

 

Location and way of working

  • Base location: Mumbai or Bangalore
  • This profile does not involve extensive travel for work but there could be few occasional requirements to visit other Deloitte locations.
  • Hybrid is our default way of working. Each domain has customized the hybrid approach to their unique needs.
