The Business Communicator specialist will act as a single point of contact for Deloitte’s subject matter experts and will be responsible in creating eminence for the organisation and/or the business through marketing campaigns, media and social media engagements, speaker and other external opportunities. The specialist is also expected to have experience in building media relations and should be capable of steering strategic and integrated marketing campaigns for the businesses.
The individual will also support the Marketing, Brand and Communications team on other eminence activities as and when required.
Responsibilities:
· Work closely with the subject matter experts and the Marketing, Brand and Communications team, to help build marketing communication strategies and specific tactical plans to build internal and external eminence.
· Strategies, plan and execute media campaigns for the firm
· Write, edit and produce communications materials in support of communications plans and individual projects, including press releases, pitch notes, scripts, and multimedia presentations
· Coordinate with the PR (Public Relations) firm for media engagements, work on an annual strategic plan to promote businesses in select media and industry events
· Partner with chamber of commerce for knowledge partnerships and speaker opportunities
· Research, assess and implement innovative communications tools and methods
· Collaborate with the extended Marketing, Brand & Communications team to develop and roll out external communications
· Assist with other communications work as required
· Keep the Brand and Communications team updated on key media developments from the region
· Be the point of contact for key media journalists in Mumbai
· Assist with on ground and online events
Qualifications:
· A professional with 6-8 years’ experience
· Holds a Bachelor’s degree
· Experience in public relations, integrated marketing communications either with a large organisation or a professional services firm would be preferred.
· Proficient in English and one another language – speak, write, and edit
· Experience in working with and managing teams.
· Experience in using emerging technologies for effective communications
