Your work profile

 

As a Consultant in our Emerging ERP Team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -

 

Quality Analyst

Candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of product quality, identifying defects, and implementing solutions to enhance our processes. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee that our products meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements. Below are some of key responsibilities:

  1. Quality Assurance:
    • Develop and implement quality assurance processes and methodologies.
    • Conduct thorough testing of products to identify and document defects.
    • Ensure that all products comply with established quality standards and regulations.
  2. Testing and Evaluation:
    • Perform manual and automated testing to evaluate product functionality, performance, and reliability.
    • Analyze test results to identify trends and patterns in quality issues.
    • Work closely with development teams to resolve defects and improve product quality.
  3. Performance Testing (preferred):
    • Design, develop, and execute performance tests using tools such as JMeter and LoadRunner.
    • Define Non-Functional Requirements (NFR) and create detailed performance test scripts.
    • Prepare and present test estimations and performance test plans to stakeholders.
    • Conduct bottleneck analysis and generate comprehensive reports on performance test results.
    • Utilize Application Performance Management (APM) tools to monitor and analyze application performance.
  4. Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide recommendations.
    • Implement best practices for quality assurance and testing.
    • Monitor and report on quality metrics, ensuring continuous improvement.
  5. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
    • Document and track defects, providing clear and concise reports to stakeholders.
    • Prepare comprehensive quality reports and present findings to management.
  6. Collaboration:
    • Work collaboratively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and specifications.
    • Participate in design and code reviews to provide quality-related feedback.
    • Assist in training and mentoring team members on quality assurance practices.

Primary Skillset:

  • Proven experience as a Quality Analyst or similar role in software development.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 

Secondary Skillset:

  • Certification in Quality Assurance (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is a plus.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with programming languages and scripting (e.g., Java, Python).
  • Experience in Performance Testing with Tools such JMeter and LoadRunner

 

Desired qualifications

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field with at least 4 - 6 years relevant experience.

 

Location and way of working

  • Base location: PAN India
  • This profile involves occasional travelling to client locations OR this profile does not involve extensive travel for work.
