In this exciting opportunity for an experienced developer, you will join a team delivering a transformative cloud hosted data platform for some of the world’s biggest organizations. The candidate we seek, needs to have a proven track record in databases & GCP data migration. Deep technical skills and experience with working on GCP.


You will also be required to participate in stakeholder management, highlight risks, propose deliver plans and estimate for time and team size based on requirements. Hence, adequate levels of communication skills and relevant experience in handling such situations is desired.

Experience and Skills Required: 

 

Roles & Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the analysis of complex business requirements and provide strategic recommendations for technical solutions specific to the banking and financial services domain.
  • Create the domain service architecture and roadmap for build.
  • Work with the product head and the technology head to ensure there is optimal solutions defined for the roadmap.
  • Mentor and guide junior analysts in understanding and documenting business processes for financial services applications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables and report management.
  • Analyse API’s, associated business processes, workflows, and system requirements to document and drive effective solutions 
  • Create comprehensive functional/technical specification documents for development and integration projects. 
  • Oversee the design and implementation of REST and SOAP APIs, ensuring scalability and performance.
  • Conduct in-depth system and data analysis, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and development teams, ensuring effective communication.
  • Provide expertise in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to APIs and system integrations.
  • Work closely with the development and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation and successful testing. 
  • Plan and execute testing activities, including defining test cases and conducting user acceptance testing.
  • Deliver user training and support in addressing inquiries and concerns.  
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices for business analysis within the organization.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, advising on their potential impact on the company's technical strategy.

 

 Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. 
  • 8 – 10 years of progressive experience in technical business analysis within fintech or financial services.
  • Should be able to analyse third-party API documentation and collate technical requirements for the new API’s to be developed.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing APIs, with a proven track record of successful projects.
  • Proficient in information gathering, documentation, and creation of functional specification documents. 
  • Have documented open API specifications using tools like Swagger, Postman etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of system and data analysis, as well as experience with complex business processes.
  • Experience in financial services applications, especially in Banking would be an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with testing methodologies, including test case development and user acceptance testing.
  • Have worked on testing automation tools using Open-Source technologies.
  • Comfort with tools for Software management
  • Advanced understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Leadership experience, including mentoring junior analysts and guiding project teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration. 
  • Ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions. 
  • Detail-oriented mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant certifications in business analysis or related fields (optional).
