Work you’ll do as a Sr. Consultant and Consultant
The primary role of a Consultant or Sr. Consultant is to be responsible for managing specific subwork
streams (or sub-modules) within a broader project. Sr. Consultants and Consultants on
engagements report to the team lead/ manager and are responsible for end-to-end delivery of the
sub-work stream allocated to them.
The key responsibilities of Consultant or Sr. Consultant should include:
• Responsible for developing different parts of the React web applications – Components,
Strong understanding of major components of UI Object Models.
• Adhere to the best practices for developing better maintainable, modular, reusable,
repeatable, and testable code.
• Deliver quality excellence and ensure the application works well across browsers and
devices.
• Develop Unit test cases using automation tools like Mocha, Chai, Jest, Enzyme.
• Collaboration with UI designer, UI developers, and backend developers to identify risks
and resolve dependencies.
• Follow the Agile process, participate in ceremonies and follow the incremental delivery
model.
• Mentor/guide team in the absence of the lead.
Technical Experience:
• Experience in the field of Web Application Development and expertise with componentdriven
architectures.
• Proficient understanding of ECMAScript, TypeScript, Angular, and MVC models.
• Deep expertise with React and commonly used packages along with React.
• Developing self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components.
• Good understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and Polyfills.
• Experience in distributed code repositories such as Git, Github, Bitbucket, TFS.
• Experience with unit testing tools like Mocha, Chai, Jest, Enzyme.
• Good understanding of package managers and able to resolve dependencies.
• Good knowledge of responsive web development frameworks (particularly Bootstrap or
Foundation) and CSS Pre-processors like SASS.
• Good understanding of SDLC.

Sr. Consultant: 6+ years of experience
Consultant: 3+ years of experience
Professional Qualification - B.E./B.Tech/MCA/MBA/MS
