The Team

The Deloitte Learning Academy (DLA) works with leading corporates, eminent universities, corporate

foundations, and governments to solve pressing problems and explore more impactful ways to meet the rapidly evolving needs of skilling and upskilling. These needs may range from modernized learning experiences, curriculum enhancements and driving learning adoption as well as informed decision via AI and big-data, all while navigating the changing future of learning.

 

Deloitte Learning Academy (DLA) – A learning marketplace to provide continuous training or upskilling services to organisations. The Academy offers wide range of courses across five focus areas – 1). Business Governance & Risk 2). Digital Transformation 3). Finance & Accounting 4). Leadership & Management 5). Tax & Regulations.

 

What really distinguishes our Instruction Designer and e-learning Developers (IDeDs), however, is that they think differently. They think like consultants, so they always have an eye toward figuring out the root of a client’s needs in order to develop the best solution. They think like an artist – a novelist, a filmmaker, a painter, a graphic designer, a singer, a songwriter, a standup comic … – so they keep audiences engaged in the training. And they think like an entrepreneur, so they see opportunities where others see obstacles.

 

The technical parts are somewhat easier to define. Our IDeDs understand IDeD-speak. They know Bloom’s Taxonomy and they can explain ADDIE and D-ADDIE and AGILE and ISD and … well, you get the idea. They also have experience creating a variety of types of training – instructor led courses, experiential courses, e-Learnings, self-studies, and assessments. And they’re on the cutting edge when it comes to understanding mobile learning, micro-learning, ebooks and other technology- driven deployment methods.

 

Work you’ll do

 

As a Consultant at Deloitte Learning Academy, will have the opportunity to put their stamp on our organization and watch their influence grow. Specifically, the person should perform the following activities:

  • Develop learning solutions for leading clients which support employees across a range of offerings including strategy, human capital, finance and technology.
  • Support the adoption and implementation of learning solution in collaboration with the client team
  • Support to develop content for workshops and hands-on-trainings on a myriad of topics as per the needs of the client
  • Work with Subject Matter Experts to ensure the content is accurate and fits client requirements
  • Communicate ideas and concepts to the stakeholders / client effectively through various means
  • Listen to feedback and alter content to better suit client needs while adhering to project standards and guidelines
  • Participate in client calls / meetings with clear agenda / queries to help address and manage client requirements
  • Ownership of team and project management including tracking/reporting, raising risks, and maintaining project documentation and course folders

 

Qualifications/ Skill

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree
  • Be tech and software savvy
  • 2+ years’ experience preferred
  • Sound understanding or interest towards learning technologies (e.g., learning management systems, Rise360, Vyond, Storyline or equivalent is must)
  • Experience in designing and developing programs and courses from concept to completion
  • Ability to interact directly with clients with expertise and professionalism
  • eLearning programming and digital development experience is must
  • Interest in learning new technology and microlearning
  • Be devoted to learning our business and our industry
  • Be self-driven and competitive with a strong work ethic
  • Be able to write effectively and create compelling presentations 
  • Storyboarding and visualization skills and comfort turning source material into interactive, visually appealing, and engaging products
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks of varying complexity and urgency in a timely and efficient manner, and tracking/reporting on projects in progress
  • Manage and prioritize workload to meet deadlines for self and team
  • High Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication abilities including collaborating with Subject Matter Experts and other stakeholders.
