ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

Portfolio Manager) will report to DevHub Leader

 

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the DEVHUB IT portfolio – including projects and programs of work, from initiation to implementation.
  • Ensure the portfolio delivers the agreed objectives for South Asia MF Asset Development Strategy and that agreed projects are completed to a consistently high standard, within budget, on time and are aligned appropriately with project management process in the individual Business and across Business for joint projects.
  • Management of the team which manages and delivers the portfolio of development projects within the ICT Shared Service.
  • Project Management responsibility for delivering projects and programs of work.
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously, and management of the project team who will have members of staff working on the projects.
  • Budget management for the Development services aspect of DEVHUB, which includes project budgets for each of the Development projects undertaken by the DEVHUB.
  • Management and reporting of project and program risks which relate to development projects.
  • To advise on issues, mitigations and controls connected to the Development projects within the DEVHUB.
  • Effective prioritisation across the portfolio of Development projects programs and services to ensure that resource is utilised on the highest priority projects.
  • Technical understanding of the following technologies: Asp .NET MVC, .NET Core, C#, Web API, VB.NET, Entity Framework, Dapper and either of database technologies: Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server (Preferred)
  • Experience on Agile Projects. Very good knowledge about Agile Scrum

 

 

QUALIFICATION

  • Should have overall 12-15 years of experience and primarily have 7 years of experience in developing solutions, solution architecture.
  • Degree level in relevant subject (IT, Business Studies etc) or equivalent
  • Prince2/MSP/LEAN practitioner qualification or equivalent
  • Managing Successful Portfolios - Portfolio Delivery (desirable)
  • Excellent understanding and experience of the application of the project development lifecycle.
  • Thorough understanding of project/Portfolio management techniques and methods
  • Sound knowledge of complex technical environments, the ability to challenge the norm and inspire creative solutions.
  • Knowledge of MS office and portfolio management software (e.g. SNOW ITBM,
  • MS Project etc.) Experience developing IT and cloud infrastructure
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred
  • Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures
  • Resource Management - Experience of resource management in matrix environment
  • Project & Portfolio Delivery - Significant experience of leading major high profile portfolios within agreed parameters of time, cost and quality.
  • Demonstrable results in managing complex projects and experience with negotiating win-win agreements
  • Project management - Significant practical experience in the delivery of multiple partners/Vendors.
  • Project/Programme Management - Strong project/programme management skills Able to manage complex, multifaceted projects/portfolios across multiple locations and customers
  • Stakeholder management - Strong stakeholder management, in particular balancing the needs and requirements of multiple Business Units into a comprehensive portfolio of projects.
  • Planning and forecasting - Able to take a continuous approach to planning, forecasting, estimating and managing uncertainty. Able to communicate the plan to a range of stakeholders.
  • Problem Solving - Able to be creative in solving issues and unblock problems to maintain delivery momentum.
  • Risk Management - Able to manage risks, issues and interdependencies across multiple customers, teams and departments
