Work you’ll do:
- Create BFSI-focused (Banking, Financial Services and Insurance) content. Develop engaging and informative content for thought leadership pieces, articles, and whitepapers tailored to the BFSI industry.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure content accuracy, alignment with objectives and timely delivery of high-quality content.
- Research market trends, suggest story ideas, and convert data into stories.
- Stay updated on changes in the BFSI industry and subsectors, such as retail, corporate, investment, and private banking; asset and wealth management; insurance; fintech; and more.
- Stay on top of regulatory changes to create insightful content informing the audience about the latest developments in the fintech space.
- Proofread, review and edit content for grammatical and technical accuracy.
- Ensure the content aligns with the brand’s voice, tone and values.
- Create compelling headlines and body copy to capture the target audience's attention.
- Coordinate with the design/production team to ensure impactful outcomes.
- Suggest best practices and optimisations throughout content generation projects.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in English literature, finance, business, economics, journalism, or any related field
- Proven experience in content writing and storytelling with a strong background in finance or economics, preferably within the BFSI or fintech industry
- About 3-8 years of experience in content creation
- Well-versed in a wide range of financial products and ability to describe financial markets, products, and economic activity in clear, direct language
- Ability to adjust tone and message to audiences across the BFSI spectrum – from institutions and economic advisers to plan sponsors and individuals
- Extensive knowledge of financial trends, concepts and terminologies
