Important qualities/ skills required for the job

 

As a Manager in the Innovation team, you will be responsible for defining standards and executing tasks associated with managing projects. You will be:

• Working closely with the business teams to execute the firm’s innovation agenda while reporting to the Chief Innovation leader

• Facilitating engagements with project teams, management and stakeholders • Creating detailed data insights, program reports and presentations for the leadership

• Ensuring consistent implementation of innovation methodology, tools, and reporting at country, regional & global level • Liaising with teams to understand their technology products

• Carving out a relevant strategy to products to market

• Collaborating, planning roadshows, informative sessions across various forums to better promote the products

• Working towards minimizing gaps between planned and projected revenues for the tech products

• Working closely with product teams, SPOCs within innovation teams

• Decent understanding of next-generation technologies like AI,ML, RPA, etc. is a plus

• Effectively managing multiple tasks and stakeholders of all levels by prioritizing urgency and importance

• Continuously building and strengthening relationships with business & internal stakeholders

 

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in business administration/ Engineering from a reputed institute

• Must have 7+ years of experience with a good research background, specifically in innovation-related and technology research

• Strong analytical, complex problem-solving, conceptual skills, task prioritization, follow-up, tenacity, creativity and service orientation skills

• Sound understanding of technologies (architecture, cloud, tech stacks etc.)

• Ability to lead meetings and initiatives

• Ability to communicate effectively across written, verbal and presentation formats to a variety of audiences

• Ability to multi-task, work independently, and stay focused in a dynamic fast paced environment • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint)

• Excellent people skills and ability to work with diverse teams of different skill sets and backgrounds

• Negotiation, critical thinking and matured business decision making skills with high emotional intelligence

• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and a team player with a positive attitude and willingness to initiate

• Strong multi-tasking skills and a collaborative working style
