Work you’ll do as an Associate Director

 

As an Associate Director in Organization Transformation (OT), you will be expected to perform the following activities within the firm:

 

    • Business Development:
    • Drive and shape the overall business development strategy for the practice, build new portfolios setting the tone for key pursuits and contributing to the national/global account strategy.
    • Provide strategic insights in cross-functional, multi-disciplinary forums independently or in alignment with the larger firm perspective.
    • Mapping the market and independently/jointly identifying and leading pursuits across industry verticals and offerings.
    • Supporting the firm's key account strategy by driving focus on critical accounts for the practice as well as support national/global accounts.
    • Crafting and representing the point of view in external and internal [cross-functional, multi-disciplinary] forums, independently or in alignment with the larger firm perspective. Leading solution definition by weaving together the client's perspective with expertise and creating/communicating a compelling value proposition for clients. Ensuring adherence to commercial, independence and risk guidelines.
    • Ability to take responsibility for managing large accounts.

 

    • Client Delivery:
    • Lead and oversee the overall client delivery strategy, ensuring the highest standards of excellence.
    • Actively contribute to the development of innovative approaches, ensuring alignment with the client's perspective and creating compelling value propositions.
    • Provide thought leadership in client engagements and expand relationships strategically.
    • Playing the role of a Program Lead and a Subject Matter Expert in development of Change and Learning content deliverables to drive execution excellence.
    • Reviewing frameworks, processes and deliverables to ensure alignment with risk, quality and delivery excellence guidelines.
    • Mentor and coach the professional development of Analyst, Consultants, Senior Consultants and other team members
    • Develop, monitor, evaluate and refine change management/training strategy in accordance with organizational culture, taking into consideration interests of relevant stakeholders while building an environment conducive for change management
    • Manage and expand client relationships

 

    • Thought Leadership:
    • Play a crucial role in driving thought leadership initiatives for the practice. Shape the direction of research and contribute significantly to establishing Deloitte's position in the industry.
    • Partnering with the larger team to author/curate/contribute in developing the research base of the practice.
    • Work with member firms globally to understand the Deloitte capability repertoire and look at how to position that in the Indian context more effectively.

 

    • Practice Management:
    • Spearhead practice management initiatives, actively shaping the strategy for the organization.
    • Focus on key processes at an organizational level, driving capability building and other critical function.
    • Support strategy development and deployment for the practice. Drive focus on key processes at an Organization level e.g. capability building, etc.
    • Ability to handle unfamiliar tasks and situations; anticipates changes in the internal and external environment to prepare oneself for uncertain situation, and is comfortable with uncertainty, unpredictability, conflicting directions, and multiple demands

 

    • Team Management:
    • Provide strategic leadership in team management, guiding the team towards optimal performance.
    • Drive talent development initiatives, aligning individual aspirations with the strategic objectives of the firm.
    • Leading a team of consultants / senior consultants in project contexts as well as a people manager.
    • Utilizing logical, systematic and orderly procedures to identify/assign resources (human or other resources) for one's self or the team to meet the objectives in optimal fashion.
    • Providing feedback and helping them develop by balancing their aspirations with firm/practice expectations.

 

    • Subject matter expertise in below areas
    • Showcase extensive proficiency spanning 10-12+years in instructional design, learning delivery, and learning technology, having led multiple end-to-end training development efforts for large digital transformation initiatives across regions and industries.
    • Specialized in requirement gathering, training design strategy, training needs analysis, curriculum development, training evaluation, leveraging effective learning experience design strategies like social collaboration, social learning, storytelling, scenario-based learning, video-based learning, and microlearning.
    • Program and Account management
    • Senior stakeholder management
    • Leadership alignment
    • Future of work force (like hands on experience with Cognitive technologies, Gen-AI, AI, RPA, AR/VR/XR, etc.).

 

Work you’ll do as Learning (Instructional Design) professional for Change Management

 

As Learning (Instructional Design) professional at Deloitte, you will work with internal stakeholders or directly with the clients to manage and support Learning interventions for large scale transformational and other change management projects.

Your role will involve:

  • Take a lead role in shaping the strategic direction of learning interventions. Provide visionary leadership in overseeing design projects and driving them to business-ready standards. Contribute significantly to the development of new offerings/portfolios.
  • Leading large teams independently by managing high-quality Learning interventions, such as training approach and strategy, needs analysis, training curriculum, vILts, expert led trainings, self-paced trainings, digital learning products, performance support tools, etc. that are tailored to project briefs and requirements basis the agreed timeline.
  • Independently managing teams overseeing conceptualization and delivery of design projects
  • Managing Learning projects or deliverables to a business-ready standard, with limited oversight.
  • Being an excellent communicator and actively participating in discussions with the team or directly with the client to suggest newer ideas and path breaking designs.
  • Develop content and directs creative execution to provide a consistent, targeted, and impactful message.
  • Contribute ideas for new programs, researching and recommending innovative branding techniques.
  • Measure and analyze current learning efforts.
  • Align and use appropriate images, typography, graphics, and layouts for the project basis the client’s brand guidelines.
  • Enable and manage design research, storyboarding, brainstorming, and design reference sessions with the team and project stakeholders.
  • Stay on top of the competitive design landscape to better understand the client’s objectives and industry trends and share these insights with the design team.

 

Skills Required

 

  • Showcase a deeper understanding and application of user-centric learning experience design in technology transformation projects.
  • Present outstanding leadership and communication skills, reflecting a senior-level strategic mindset.
  • Engaging with business leaders as a catalyst for transformation, fostering collaboration among team members, and motivating teams for optimal performance.
  • Building and managing client relationships with a focus on recognizing and effectively managing potential issues during client assignments.
  • Excellent time and project management skills, showcasing the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience gained in professional services firms, global consultancy firms, and/or large private and/or public sector organizations.
  • Managing small to medium teams within complex environments, with prior experience leading medium to large client engagements independently.
  • Demonstrating a creative and innovative mindset to approach challenges.
  • Good knowledge of technology transformation projects, particularly ERP applications like SAP, Oracle, Workday, SalesForce, etc.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (suite).
  • Expertise in Adobe Captivate/Articulate Storyline 360/SAP Enable Now.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to develop persuasive messages based on provided information.
