Work you’ll do

As a member of the Strategy and Front-end Transformation (which includes sales, service) team, you will embark on an exciting and fulfilling journey with a group of intelligent and innovative globally aware individuals. You will be responsible for collaborating with teams across locations, and independently delivering workstreams/ projects for our clients.


Project Delivery/ Business Development

  • Lead/Deliver large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business solutions
  • Translate Client’s business goals into strategy roadmaps and implementation design
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data, draw insights, and integrate these insights across work streams and come up with overall plan to drive solution
  • Analyze Client’s business and make recommendations on strategy, initiatives for front-end transformation
  • Leverage business experience and acumen in identifying strategic alternatives and project approach to client questions
  • Develop and visualize scenarios for the client problem, create a compelling storyline and recommend the best way forward
  • Develop solutions for client problems application of personal experience and standard methods and tools
  • Design and detail initiatives to accelerate client growth, design templates and guidelines for implementation
  • Deliver consulting engagements involving strategic planning, business model design, competitive benchmarking, transformation roadmap etc. across sectors
  • Assist your service line in eminence building activities by publishing whitepapers and thought papers
  • Create Point of Views to help Deloitte pursue new business opportunities (by analyzing industry reports, Deloitte resources)
  • Identify additional client needs and pitch appropriate solutions
  • Develop and participate in proposals for business development activities
  • Actively share best practices, develop, and maintain working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Complete and manage project work in accordance with established workplan, quality standard, budget, and timeframe
  • Data analysis, process mapping, process design, interviewing clients, supply chain modeling, spend analysis, supplier enablement, etc.
  • Manage relevant client stakeholders in complex consulting engagements


Team Management (for Manager/ Associate Directors)

  • Manage project teams including both internal and external resources
  • Implement and oversee the quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance
  • Manage project finances and client risk formalities
  • Serve as the key point of contact (and escalation) for the client
  • Develop high-performing people and teams through challenging and meaningful opportunities
  • Deliver exceptional client service; maximize results and drive high performance from people while fostering collaboration across businesses and borders.
  • Identify team members and quickly ramping up teams for small to medium sized projects
  • Influence clients, teams, and individuals positively, leading by example and establishing confident relationships with increasingly senior people
  • Understand key objectives for clients and Deloitte; align people to objectives and set priorities and direction



  • MBA/ Postgraduate from a Tier 1 college
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in commerce, business, economics, or engineering from a top tier institution
  • Prior experience in sales and marketing, corporate strategy and consulting will be an added advantage


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • Strong core consulting skills – i.e. analytical, primary, and secondary research, presentation, and financial modelling, including logical structuring and storyboarding, superior knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to build and drive relationships through objective communication
  • Prior experience in data visualization and project management tools preferred
  • Hands-on self-starter with a structured thinking / problem solving mindset, comfortable dealing with a high level of ambiguity
  • Solid analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Solid project management skills, with the ability to seamlessly switch between different workstreams
  • Ability to thrive in a complex and fast-paced environment with many competing priorities
  • Exceptional attention to detail, responsiveness, and strong track record of executing high-impact initiatives
