  1. Create and maintain automated tests for APIs using Rest Assured and other testing tools.
  2. Work with QA and development teams to plan API tests, create test cases, and define what needs to be validated.
  3. Set up automated tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) to run tests automatically during development.
  4. Improve and update the automation framework to make sure the tests are easy to reuse, scalable, and efficient.
  5. Strong knowledge of Rest Assured to automate testing of REST APIs, and good skills in Java for writing test scripts.
  6. Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber is a bonus.
  7. Good problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot and fix issues that arise in the tests or the API
