- Practitioner with 8+ years of experience in consulting, of which at least 3+ years of experience in an ESG or Climate & Sustainability role
- Prior experience in driving client engagements and programs. Experience in dealing with clients on a day-to-day basis and managing client interactions independently
- Project experience in undertaking disclosure benchmarking & competitor analysis, and executing assignments in the areas of ESG advisory, reporting, and assurance
- Global project delivery experience
- Stellar academic credentials (MBA/advanced degree); additional ESG / S&C related certifications from GRI, SASB, TCFD, or any other regulatory body preferred
- Knowledge and/or experience leading projects in key topics / areas of ESG, including Climate & Sustainability, and interpretation of national and global regulations and standards namely DJSI, ISSB, CSRD, SEC, TCFD, TNFD, CBAM, GRI, IR, SASB, CDP, and other ESG KPIs
- In-depth knowledge of ESG data collection, verification, and reporting process
- Knowledge about sources and reference documents for emission factors for different types of activity data (under Scope 1, 2, & 3)
- Understanding of setting organizational and operational boundaries for GHG accounting
- Knowledge of GHG accounting practices using GHG protocol and ISO 14064
- Thorough understanding of ESG risks and opportunity drivers as well as ESG rating methodologies and agencies
