Deloitte is working with global customers on cloud technologies to help unlock growth, stability, and sustainability by enabling them to spot unseen business trends through curation, transformation, and blending of data. Your work profile

As a Senior Consultant in our Cloud Engineering Team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -

 

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Work on Design and development of new database /data model changes.
  • Work on Database deployments and upgrade procedures.
  • Develop and document best practices for database Installations, Administration, Troubleshooting and performance tuning.
  • Collaborate with Change Management, Quality Assurance, Technical Documentation and Project Management for new release and hotfixes.
  • Provide technical support triaging issues, identifying root cause and deploy fix and or workarounds.
  • Peer review and verify code for other database developers. 
  • Partner with developers to review and data model changes and provide recommendations based on best practices.
  • Improve existing processes and provide innovative ways to automate routines.
  • Maintain and Update Database Dictionary and release artifacts with each release. 

 

Desired qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in data modeling, ERD using ERWIN or other data modeling tools.
  • 5+ years’ experience working with high volume OLTP and OLAP systems.
  • Excellent T-SQL, PL/SQL script writing debugging skills.
  • Experience with database upgrade tools, deployments and automation.
  • Experience troubleshooting issues with database performance, functionality.
  • Ability to work with source controls like git and svn, project tracking with JIRA.
  • Ability to engage with emotional intelligence as required to avoid conflicts.
  • High energy professional who thrives working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong Team Player with Customer Focus and attitude.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.

 

Location and way of working.

  • Base location: Jaipur
  • This profile does not involve extensive travel for work.
