Your work profile.

As an Analyst/Consultant/Senior Consultant in our Organization’s Oracle OCRP Tech Team, you will be part of our Oracle Retail practice and will be responsible for delivering design, building, and testing web applications and software for the Oracle Retail suite of products. Work on both the front-end (user interface and experience) and back-end (database, server, and application logic) of a project. Having Android app development experience would be preferable.

Work you’ll do

The key job responsibilities will be to:

·      The primary role of an Oracle Retail Consultant / Sr. Consultant is to be responsible for managing specific sub-work streams (or sub-modules) within a broader project. Sr. Consultants and Consultants on engagements report to the team lead/ manager and are responsible for end-to-end delivery of the sub-work stream allocated to them.

·      The responsibilities can include:

·      Contributing to Oracle Retail Implementation/Support Projects.

·      Perform maintenance on existing programs.

·      Provide innovative and cost-effective engineering solutions.

·      Participate in knowledge-sharing activities.

·      Support security and compliance activities by identifying and driving initiatives that are relevant for the project delivery and help factor reusability and related benefits.

·      Work with Oracle Retail development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions.

·      Design client-side and server-side architecture

·      Build the front end of applications through appealing visual design.

·      Build interactive and scale mobile applications through appealing visual design.

·      Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.

·      Write effective APIs

·      Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.

·      Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software

·      Create security and data protection settings.

·      Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design

·      Write technical documentation for Oracle Retail products

Required Skills

·      Oracle Retail Consultants with proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role

·      2-5 years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring boot, React JS, Node JS/Angular & Mobile App development.

·      Knowledge of JavaScript Design Patterns

·      Experience in Oracle Retail (MOM/SIM/Planning) Implementation or Support projects.

·      Experience developing desktop and mobile applications.

·      Worked extensively in Android App Development, preferably Native apps, or experience with Flutter

·      Experience in understanding design aspects along with hands-on in UI development writing the unit testable code

·      Hands on experience on HTML and CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery

·      Experience with Source Control Tools such as GIT

·      Experience with integrating cloud services like (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud)

·      Knowledge in Web Services (REST, SOAP)

·      Good understanding of object-oriented programming, RDBMS, NoSQL, and SOLID.

·      Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)

·      Familiarity with databases (e.g. Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache), and UI/UX design

·      Exposure to Oracle Retail Landscape and Architecture

·      Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

·      Experience with Firebase and Architecture

·      Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·      Good project management and organizational skills

Preferred skills

·      Solid exposure in Oracle Retail (MOM/SIM/Planning) Implementation or Support projects.

·      Experience in Java, ReactJS, NodeJS & AngularJS

·      Ability to execute a project using Agile techniques to quickly deliver value for clients

·      Ability to propose solutions by adopting a customer-centric view of the client’s strategy

·      Ability to combine digital acumen and a domain specialization to create solutions for our clients

·      Ability to produce a high-quality work product and collaborate with others to deliver a superior client experience.
