Deloitte is working with global customers on cloud technologies to help unlock growth, stability, and sustainability by enabling them to spot unseen business trends through curation, transformation, and blending of data. In our endeavors for continued expansion, we’re searching for like-minded individuals to help us ‘take it to the next level’.  

 

You will also be required to participate in stakeholder management, highlight risks, propose deliver plans and estimate for time and team size based on requirements. Hence, adequate levels of communication skills and relevant experience in handling such situations is desired. 

 

Your work profile

 

As a Manager in our Cloud Engineering Team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -

 

Your main responsibilities will be:

 

Configuration and optimization of cloud-native monitoring tools to monitor infrastructure and applications hosted on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

  1. Integration and customization of third-party monitoring solutions to meet specific business requirements and technical needs.
  2. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define monitoring requirements, design monitoring solutions, and implement best practices.
  3. Development of monitoring dashboards, alerts, and reports to provide real-time insights into the health and performance of our systems.
  4. Continuous evaluation of new monitoring tools and technologies to enhance our monitoring capabilities and stay ahead of emerging trends.
  5. Troubleshooting and resolution of issues related to monitoring tool configuration, data collection, and performance.
  6. Documentation of monitoring configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and maintain system integrity.
  7. Participation in on-call rotations and incident response activities to support critical production systems and minimize downtime.

 

 

Desired qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in implementing data ingestion and transformation pipelines for large-scale organizations. We are seeking someone with deep technical skills in a variety of technologies to play an important role in developing and delivering early proofs of concept and production implementation.

Cloud-native monitoring tools: experience in popular tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, or AWS CloudWatch.
2. Cloud platforms: expertise in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or other cloud providers.
3. Third-party monitoring solutions: Experience in integrated and customized solutions like Splunk, Nagios, Zabbix, or Sensu.
4. Collaboration: experience working in cross-functional teams and have strong communication skills.
5. Monitoring dashboards: experience developing dashboards using tools like Grafana or Kibana.
6. Alerts and reports: Creating alerting mechanisms and generated reports to provide insights into system health and performance.
7. Troubleshooting: strong troubleshooting skills and experience in resolving issues related to monitoring tool configuration and performance.
8. Documentation: experience documenting monitoring configurations and procedures.
9. On-call rotations and incident response: having experience participating in on-call rotations and responding to incidents to support critical production systems.

  • Base location: Coimbatore, Mumbai, Delhi
