Functional Tester

Experience: 3 - 6 years’ experience in software testing, with a focus on Salesforce applications.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in manual testing techniques and methodologies.
• Experience in writing and executing detailed test cases and test plans.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman or similar.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze Functional Requirements: Review and understand Salesforce functional requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Create Test Cases: Develop detailed, structured test cases aligned with Salesforce application requirements.
• Execute Test Cases: Perform thorough testing of Salesforce applications, meticulously identifying and documenting defects.
• Defect Reporting: Log defects in JIRA or similar defect tracking systems, including steps to reproduce, expected results, and actual results.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with Salesforce developers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues promptly.
• Attend Agile Meetings: Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.

Additional Requirements:

• Salesforce Knowledge: Familiarity with Salesforce platform functionalities, configurations, and customizations.
• Expertise and exposure in Salesforce Point of Sale and Collections systems.
