Role Overview:
As an AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes to support our cloud-based applications and services. You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to streamline deployment pipelines, automate workflows, and ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud architecture, DevOps practices, and hands-on experience with AWS services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines using AWS services and DevOps tools.
- Develop automation scripts and templates for provisioning, configuration, and deployment of cloud resources.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable automated builds, testing, and deployment of applications.
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize application performance, and ensure seamless integration with cloud services.
- Implement and maintain security controls, compliance policies, and best practices to protect cloud environments and data.
- Conduct regular audits, reviews, and assessments to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and areas for improvement.
- Provide technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams on cloud architecture, DevOps practices, and tooling.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in cloud computing and DevOps to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- 6-9 years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in cloud architecture and DevOps.
- Strong proficiency in AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, IAM, CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, and other core services.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, infrastructure as code (IAAS), and automation frameworks (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and compliance requirements in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional certification preferred.
