Role Overview:
As an AWS Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, architect cloud solutions, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud architecture, strong technical proficiency in AWS services, and a proven track record of delivering successful cloud projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, architect, and implement AWS cloud solutions based on business requirements and best practices.
- Develop cloud architecture frameworks, strategies, and roadmaps to guide the organization's cloud initiatives.
- Lead the design and deployment of highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable cloud infrastructure.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams on AWS services, tools, and best practices.
- Restful Webservices, Microservices Architecture, CI/CD, GitHub, Terraform
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess existing infrastructure, and recommend cloud migration strategies.
- Ensure security, compliance, and performance optimization of cloud environments through effective design and implementation.
- Implement automation, monitoring, and DevOps practices to streamline cloud operations and enhance efficiency.
- Conduct technical reviews, performance analysis, and capacity planning to support ongoing optimization and improvement efforts.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, trends, and advancements in cloud computing to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- 9-12 years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in architecting and implementing AWS cloud solutions.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and other core services.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing cloud-native architectures, microservices, and serverless applications.
- Strong understanding in Restful Webservices, Microservices Architecture, CI/CD, GitHub, Terraform etc.
- Monitoring Dashboards: Splunk/Grafana/DataDog
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance requirements in cloud environments.
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices, such as CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and infrastructure as code.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive successful project outcomes.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
