- Application development and support experience of 7+ years
- Expertise in the PERN stack: PostgreSQL, Express, React, Node.js
- Expertise in AWS services like API Gateway, Lambda, S3, RDS, Redshift, Cognito, Load Balancer
- Nice to have:
- Proficiency in Redux, Bootstrap.js, CSS, HTML5
- Proficiency in Nginx or Apache servers
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day:
- Collaborate with product owners, UI designers and business leaders to analyze and understand current business processes, identify non-functional requirements, and design solutions.
- Develop source code, configurations for application front-end & backend using test-driven methodologies. Additionally, deliver enhancements, bug-fixes in a timely fashion.
- Test methodologies include unit, QA, supporting UAT, A/B testing.
- Maintain the source code, configurations in the repository, CI/CD pipeline. Own and manage the pipeline.
- Prepare test data for all phases of assurance, from unit testing to quality assurance to user acceptance testing.
- Perform administrative tasks like user management, scheduling, monitoring resources and capacity, resolving exceptions and issues, and moving packages across different environments.
- Participate in standups, maintain user stories, tasks for engineering activities.
- Maintain lean documentation for development and operations.
