Job Title: Network Security Engineer
Job Summary:
Deloitte is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer with expertise across multiple security and network technologies to support, design, and secure large-scale enterprise infrastructures. As a Deputy Manager/Assistant Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in implementing and managing security strategies and ensuring resilient network architectures for our clients. This position demands a highly skilled individual with strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills, adapt at collaborating with cross-functional teams across global locations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Network & Security Infrastructure Management**
- Configure, deploy, and manage firewalls (Cisco,Fortinet, Palo Alto) and network devices such as routers and switches (Cisco, Juniper) to maintain robust perimeter and internal security.
- Administer and optimize WLAN solutions using Cisco and Aruba devices, ensuring secure and high-performance wireless network access.
- Implement and manage IP Address Management (IPAM) systems, particularly Infoblox, for efficient and secure IP resource management.
2. **Network Design & Troubleshooting**
- Architect and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, vPC, VDC, OTV, FEX, and data center technologies to ensure secure and efficient network operations.
- Expertise in dynamic routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP) and resolving complex route table and network segmentation issues.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting support on routing, switching, VPN, wireless, and firewall issues.
3. **Cloud & Load Balancing Solutions**
- Manage and optimize load balancer solutions, including F5 Big-IP LTM/GTM and Citrix NetScaler, for high-availability applications.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), integrating network security solutions within hybrid and cloud-native architectures.
4. **Advanced Security & Policy Management**
- Configure Zscaler ZIA/ZPA solutions, ensuring secure internet access and zero-trust network access.
- Implement security protocols and policies such as TACACS, RADIUS, OpenDNS, and leverage tools like Panorama (Palo Alto) for effective firewall and VPN management.
5. **Project & Change Management**
- Lead the design and implementation of complex changes and projects, creating detailed Plans of Action (POA), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and knowledge documentation.
- Actively participate and represent in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, supporting the implementation of secure, compliant, and scalable network solutions.
6. **Cross-functional Team Collaboration & Leadership**
- Serve as a technical point of contact, effectively communicating with stakeholders at all levels, including executives.
- Lead technical meetings, present solutions, and drive results across geographically distributed teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- **Networking & Security Certifications:** Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), Juniper, PCNSE or other industry-standard certifications.
- **Technical Expertise:**
- Firewalls: Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto
- Load Balancers: F5 Big-IP, Citrix NetScaler
- WLAN: Cisco & Aruba WLC/Access Points
- Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure
- Network Devices: Cisco Nexus Switches, Juniper SRX, Fortigate, Extreme devices
- Network Management Tools: SolarWinds, Splunk
- WAN Acceleration: Riverbed
- **Key Protocols & Technologies:** In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLAN, VPN, NAT, QoS, 802.1x, and network security products.
- **Problem-Solving & Communication:** Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with proven experience in documentation and clear communication with various stakeholders.
- **Adaptability & Initiative:** Highly adaptable in a fast-paced, complex environment with a self-starter attitude to make independent decisions.
