As a Senior Consultant Team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: 

 

Functional Responsibilities 

 
• Proven working experience in project management in the IT sector on various banking systems 
• Experience/ Expertise in Project Lifecycle (all phases of Project management).  
• Creates and Maintains Project Plans: Develops, and continually updates, detailed project/program management plans, Work breakdown structures based on the project objectives and scope. Prepares status reports to convey project scope, goals, milestones, budget, risk, status, change requests, and critical issues to the management. 
• Identify, lead and manage continuous improvement of business processes/ control environment by using set precedence/ data to generate insights, perform deep dives and reports 
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification measures and techniques 
• Work with appropriate IT and business stakeholders to define, prioritize and manage the pipeline of potential Projects.  
• Provide Overall Project Administration: Participates in program team meetings, proactively documents meeting minutes, track issues, decisions and action items, and follow-up between meetings to drive issues to closure. Manage both the dependencies and the interfaces between projects and various IT groups 
• Conducts Risk Management: Maintains documentation for identified risks and mitigation strategies. Proactively gathers and updates risk status and documentation as needed. 
• Finds solutions for problems and aids to the progress of the project and delivery 
• Escalates in a timely fashion to get the required attention and help needed to bring focus to the project delivery 
• Manages documents required knowledge and trains the Production support team as needed for BAU handover 
• Identify, lead and manage continuous improvement of business processes/ control environment by using set precedence/ data to generate insights, perform deep dives and reports 
• Identify, initiate and manage actions to mitigate risks and to strengthen controls, including issues identified through audits and other external processes 
• Serve as a project’s single point of contact for all matters related to Delivery Excellence. Identify the need for and coordinate support from specialists in the areas of estimation, methods, and tools  
• Conducts lessons learnt sessions, improves upon the gap areas and shares the best practices (knowledge sharing) 

 

Desired qualifications 

  • Hands on experience with project management software, tools like MS Project, JIRA etc. 

  • Proven work experience/ track record in BFSI Sector especially vendor management 

Location and way of working. 

  • Base location: Bangalore 

  • This profile involves frequent / occasional travelling to client locations. 

  • Hybrid is our default way of working. Each domain has customized the hybrid approach to their unique needs.
