Job Title:  Senior Consultant | UFT | SAP | Bengaluru | Engineering

Job Summary: 

We are seeking an experienced UFT + SAP Test Engineer to join our QA team. This role involves creating, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts for SAP applications using UFT, as well as working with cross-functional teams to enhance testing processes, identify defects, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design and develop automated test scripts for SAP applications using UFT to ensure comprehensive test coverage. 
• Collaborate with business analysts and developers to understand requirements, define test cases, and prepare test plans tailored for SAP modules. 
• Execute automated test scripts and maintain existing test scripts as application features and SAP configurations evolve. 
• Identify, log, and track defects using tools such as JIRA or HP ALM; work closely with the development team to resolve issues. 
• Contribute to the improvement of the QA process by identifying opportunities for automation and testing efficiency, particularly within SAP environments. 
• Document test cases, execution results, and maintain reports on testing progress and quality metrics. 

Qualifications: 

• Experience: 6-9 years of experience with UFT automation, specifically in SAP environments. 
• SAP Knowledge: Proficient in SAP modules (e.g., SAP FICO, SAP MM, SAP SD) and SAP business processes. 
• Automation Skills: Proficient in developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts using UFT, with experience in parameterization and descriptive programming. 
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of VBScript and experience working with test management tools (HP ALM, JIRA). 
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. 
• Communication: Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Certifications: ISTQB certification and/or SAP certification. 
• Additional Tools: Familiarity with other test automation tools and frameworks is a plus (e.g., Selenium, LoadRunner). 
• Industry Knowledge: Experience in sectors where SAP ERP is commonly used, such as manufacturing, finance, or retail, is preferred.
