The team

 

The Digital Excellence Centre is responsible for building products and platforms for Deloitte India that focuses on providing extraordinary customer experience by putting design thinking with trailblazing technology in the center of what they do. The diverse team consists of subject matter experts, technology specialists, quality engineers, user experience researchers & designers, data scientists and product managers

 

Responsibilities:

 

  1. Provide full and detailed analysis, insightful commentary and recommendations for technical action / performance bottleneck observed as appropriate in accordance with agreed standards.
  2. Develop a broad awareness of new tools, processes and technical developments relevant to component area of expertise and seek opportunities to apply them.
  3. Establish an end-to-end view and capture all key requirements. Establish clear non-functional requirements (like capacity, availability, response times, etc.).
  4. Ensure that all NFRs & SLA are 'testable' and agree test strategy with business and test team lead.
  5. Understand technical constraints of live environment / architecture, support business clients in understanding any ‘requirement versus cost’ trade-offs.

 

As a prospective candidate, you should possess:

 

  1. In-depth working experience in Non-Functional Testing.
  2. Must have experience in analysis and reporting of performance tests.
  3. Strong knowledge of Load-Runner, or JMeter.
  4. Strong knowledge of analysing and interpreting performance tests results via tools, able to identify bottlenecks.
  5. Prior experience on API testing, and DB’s like Oracle.
  6. Understanding & experience in Heap & Thread Dump analysis, tuning recommendations to fix performance issues.
  7. Understanding of Resiliency, Failover and HA Patterns.
  8. Must be collaborative and able to share best practice at all levels.
  9. Must have the ability to identify and resolve issues within own team.
  10. Must be able to work individually and as part of a cross functional team.
