The team
 

The Deloitte South Asia strategic growth team serves as a central pillar driving growth and transformation within DSA, spanning several business lines and various technology functions.  We are established as a centralized team collaborating across consulting, implementation, and operation to maintain and enhance client value offerings and services. We innovate conventional approaches, leveraging Deloitte technology, differentiated domain expertise, intellectual property, talent, and capacity to embed continuous advantage and deliver enhanced business value.

In this team, our focus is on catering to the unique needs and preferences of clients in the South Asia region. Your role within this dynamic team is essential for establishing networks and relationships across the client stakeholder ecosystem and ensuring service fulfillment. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with other Deloitte leadership and stakeholders dedicated to the client. Your contributions will involve nurturing new and existing relationships, supporting presales life cycles, and playing a pivotal role in driving the success of DSA business growth for the specific client.

Your work profile

 

You will work closely with clients as consulting professional to design or creates strategies, build and implement initiatives that can help enhance business performance. As part of these, you are expected to drive the below expectations:

 

  • Translate strategic objectives into high-impact use cases / initiatives
  • Understand client's business priorities, focus areas to identify the right business scenarios and impacted value levers (KPIs) to create the business case.
  • Conduct workshops and presentations to showcase the value proposition of our offerings and solutions.
  • Ideate, execute compelling value creation workshops.
  • Conduct detailed qualitative and quantitative research to lay the foundation of a strong business case.
  • Own the value creation process: from research & identification to drafting, dashboarding, strategic goal driven solution for clients.
  • Advise clients on industry point of views and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other value architects across the firm, client-side stakeholders, business heads to co-create.
  • Provide impactful contributions in meetings and conversations by actively participating in meetings and workshops
  • Ability to create hypothesis based on understanding of clients' issues.
  • Identify, create measures and report on the value delivered as part the wider business transformation initiative that is being undertaken
  • Digital strategy and business transformation practitioner with global experience in large scale operations, maintenance and reliability for an Industry
  • Maturity assessments, value planning, solution design, implementation and change management.
  • Skilled in program management driving cross-functional collaboration to achieve program objectives and outcomes.
  • Drive large-scale business and digital transformation projects to deliver outcome-based consulting assignments.
  • Knowledge of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), KPI tree and other relevant measures specific to the industry
  • Value Lifecycle Management (VLM): Value Determination, Value Realization, Value Audit
  • Experience in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Portfolio & Project Management (PPM), Quality Management, Value Lifecycle Manager (VLM)
  • Experience in developing, maintaining & modifying business case documents & establishing baselines for Value Realization through:
    • Creating value maps
    • Conducting stakeholder workshops
    • Performing change management exercises for benefit realization
    • Creating value dashboards
    • Continuous business monitoring
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication & presentation skills for understanding client requirements, ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and building rapport with stakeholders, especially in executive leadership roles.
  • Leverage practices and productivity tools, technology for speed & efficiency, interactive dashboard creation platforms (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) 
  • Innovate & Create compelling business story in a fast-paced environment with the ability to extract value.
  • Drive pre-sales activities actively engaging with clients, RFP responses, Proof of Concepts, Effective presentations, Demonstrating solutions,  engineering efforts and commercial models etc.
  • Drive practice-specific initiatives like creating points of view, reusable assets, perform analysis on industry research and market trends, corelate them to generate meaningful value.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to different cultures, time zones, and work practices, adjusting communication and approach accordingly

 

Desired qualifications

  1. Educational Background:
    • Engineering “STEM” (Science / Technology / Engineering / Math) major from a premier institute
    • MBA from a top-tier business school preferred
  2. Experience:
    • 10+ yrs. of proven experience in value architect, presales roles, specifically in the consulting and presentation of business and technology solutions for client/industry.
    • Industry expertise in either of FS, TMT, Manufacturing, Energy, Resources, Utility is a must.
    • Solid understanding of market and industry trends, operational challenges and industry best practices.
    • Software development background will be an advantage.
  3. Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in SaaS, PaaS, Digital and cloud Transformation, Optimization technologies, cloud platforms and a strong grasp of presales methodologies.
  4. Communication Skills:
    • Effective communication is essential for understanding client requirements and building rapport with stakeholders, especially in executive leadership roles.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    • Demonstrated ability to craft innovative solutions and adapt to evolving client needs.
    • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • This profile involves frequent travelling to client locations
