As Manager in our Cyber Team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -

 

Demonstrates proven expertise and success managing project workstreams in a security, controls, or information security management environment. Should have the following skills:

  • Proficiency in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting endpoint protection solutions across diverse environments.
  • Knowledge of latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash to automate repetitive tasks and enhance platform efficiency

Proven expertise on Endpoint Security technologies (CrowdStrike EDR, XDR and IdP, Email Security, Microsoft Defender for Identity & O365, Understanding of network security, And manage security policies as per industry standards and product implementations.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Endpoint Security Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Endpoint Security platform. The role involves ensuring optimal platform performance, handling escalated issues, and supporting the ongoing security operations related to endpoint protection. The Engineer will work closely with the security operations center (SOC), incident response teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that the CrowdStrike platform is effectively leveraged to protect the organization's assets.

 

This will include managing and optimizing EDR, XDR, Email Security, CSPM, IdP, and NDR solutions, while leading a technical team with a focus on automation and innovation. The role also involves developing MBR/QBR reports with key analysis and value addition, providing technical expertise, and ensuring integration and security across platforms. Strong communication and troubleshooting skills are essential to collaborate with clients and internal teams.

 

 

  • Platform Management & Maintenance:
    • Perform daily health checks on the CrowdStrike Falcon platform to ensure all components are functioning correctly.
    • Monitor and maintain the Falcon agent deployment across the environment, ensuring all endpoints are adequately protected.
    • Regularly update and patch the CrowdStrike platform to ensure it remains secure and up-to-date with the latest features and threat intelligence.
    • Handle platform upgrades, configurations, and integrations with other security tools.
  • Incident Response Support:
    • Act as the second line of defense in responding to alerts and incidents triggered by the CrowdStrike platform.
    • Investigate and triage escalated security events, providing detailed analysis and remediation steps.
    • Collaborate with the SOC and Incident Response (IR) teams to ensure effective resolution of security incidents.
  • Escalation Handling:
    • Address escalated issues related to the CrowdStrike platform from L1 engineers and provide expert guidance for resolution.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to endpoint protection, working closely with the CrowdStrike support team if needed.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
    • Prepare regular reports on platform performance, incident response metrics, and other relevant KPIs.
    • Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps to enhance the knowledge base for L1 engineers and other stakeholders.
    • Participate in weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews, contributing technical insights and platform performance data.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Work closely with the IT infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure the CrowdStrike platform is seamlessly integrated with the organization's security ecosystem.
    • Provide training and guidance to L1 engineers and other team members on best practices for using the CrowdStrike platform.
    • Liaise with CrowdStrike support and account management teams to resolve issues and optimize platform usage.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for automation and optimization within the CrowdStrike platform and related processes.
    • Stay current with the latest developments in cybersecurity and endpoint protection, incorporating new knowledge into daily tasks and platform management.
  • Perform daily health checks and monitor the endpoint security platform for anomalies.
  • Review and respond to alerts, ensuring that all critical incidents are investigated promptly.
  • Manage and monitor endpoint agent deployment, ensuring all endpoints are protected.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues with the platform or endpoint agents.
  • Update and maintain documentation related to platform management, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Collaborate with L1 engineers, providing guidance and resolving escalated issues.
  • Prepare and deliver daily status reports on platform performance and security incidents.
  • Maintain 100 % SLA and compliance on deliveries with quality and process follow up. 
  • Assist in Implementing email filtering solutions to identify and block phishing attempts, malicious attachments, and suspicious URLs.
  • Monitor identity-related alerts and assist in basic incident response efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective remediation plans for identified security issues. Provide guidance on best practices and secure configurations.
  • Assist on safe browsing habits, email security, and overall cyber hygiene
  • Participate in timely and effective problem analysis/resolution and change implementation in accordance with approved Problem and Change Management disciplines.
  • Strive for no outages or problems resulting from the installation, maintenance or enhancement of products/tools used to support our customers.
  • Help on Investigating the root cause of suspicious threats and analyzing the global threats in environment and implement the preventive strategies.
  • Ensure completion of the BAU tasks on time and deliverables are met on daily basis
  • RCA preparation
  • Ensure proactive monitoring and fixing the identified issue and resulted to avoid major tickets-P1/P2's.
  • Participate and supporting to all MI, Problem Record, Change Management.
  • Promote standardization efforts by helping or leading efforts to develop and/or contribute to account documentation, account quality measurements, and account standardized delivery.

Desired qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree in Cybersecurity or Business Management is preferred.
  •  

    • Minimum of 7+ years of practical and proven experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on endpoint protection and platform management.
    • Hands-on experience with the CrowdStrike Falcon & Defender platform is highly desirable
    • Experience in security operations, incident response, or a similar role.
    • Strong understanding of infrastructure, cloud, network, email security architectures, solutions, processes, frameworks, and components
    • Hands-on experience Managing and developing security policies, vulnerability management, and governance strategies
    • Strong diagnostic skills to pinpoint the underlying causes of technical issues and implement effective solutions.

     

    Hands-on experience working with

     

    • Ability to interpret threat intelligence and apply it to the protection and monitoring of endpoints.
    • Knowledge of integrating Endpoint Security with other security tools, SIEM systems, and IT infrastructure to create a cohesive security ecosystem.
    • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash to automate repetitive tasks and enhance platform efficiency.
    • Experience in developing custom scripts for managing and monitoring the Endpoint Security platform.
    • Understanding of APIs and their use in integrating and extending platform functionality.
