Deloitte's Transaction Services Analytics team is made up of highly skilled practitioners who use a suite of analytical tools and approaches along with financial expertise to deliver analysis and insights for end-to-end M&A value creation.

 

We turn the data that companies generate into an equity story, deal insights and opportunities for growth. We help prepare companies in advance for exit processes, during deal execution and due diligence, and post-deal or strategically for value creation.

 

 

Your work profile

 

As a Manager in our Forensic & Financial Crime team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations. You’ll:

  • Gather data, understand the client key deal related questions and issues, formulate data driven insights
  • Execute set of analyses to support business and deal related processes
  • Ability to understand the operational metrics and associated deal related risk
  • Work closely with Deloitte Transaction Advisory team and Client in analyzing volume of data and generate value/insights for the Client for them to make rightful decision/investment
  • Lead and develop transaction services analytics team and demonstrate strong quality execution and delivery
  • Ensure key stakeholders are informed of progress and projected outcomes
  • Ability to use multiple analytics techniques to answer the Client questions related to the deal

 

Desired qualifications

  • A seasoned professional in forensic accounting & financial crime analytics.

 

  • Bachelor’s/ Master’s with a minimum of 7+ years of work experience in analytics (Degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, Quants or Computer science would be preferred).

 

  • Data Wiz: Wield MS Excel, SQL, Python & data visualization tools like a weapon against crime.

 

  • Client Champion: Lead successful client engagements, presenting findings with persuasion.

 

  • Independent Operator: Drive projects to completion, meeting tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Think Fast, Act Faster: Solve problems creatively & analytically in a time-compressed environment.

 

  • Global Collaboration: Thrive in a cross-cultural team, flexible with domestic travels basis client service projects.

 

Additional strengths for Manager applicants:

  • Demonstrated technical excellence, ability to lead and manage significant client engagements.
  • Must possess a consultative orientation and ability to deliver a broad range of innovative and value-added services.
  • Experience in mentoring, leading teams for transaction services data analytics

Location and way of working

  • Base location: Mumbai / Gurugram / Bengaluru
  • This profile involves occasional travelling to client location
