We are looking for Consultants and Senior Consultants for Customer Strategy and Applied Design team, focused on Strategy & Operations.  The role involves responsibility for being a part of/leading a work stream or module on a large-scale project or overall delivery lead in case of short term/ small scale engagement. Candidates should be able to demonstrate professional experience and knowledge, coupled with strong technical background to help define and execute/contribute to end-to-end cross-functional projects.

Role/Responsibilities include ability to:

  • Work with internal teams, and clients to develop and implement long term and short-term engagement objectives and work plan
  • Think through a solution lens and work with clients’ and Deloitte’s teams to deliver engagements
  • Perform data analysis, industry insight generation, design and blueprint of operating models
  • Lead small client and internal teams to understand, design, enhance, confirm and deliver objectives of the engagement
  • Work in alignment with the internal and client teams to ensure a streamlined delivery model with seamless integration of the final deliverable across modules
  • Communicate, analyze, recommend and provide crisp updates in both written and oral forms of communication to both internal and client leadership
  • Demonstrate good report writing skills and prepare final deliverables
  • Assist senior members of the team in responding to client requests, RFPs and problem statements with business proposals
  • Build the relationship between Deloitte and the client’s project teams
  • Agree and deliver a body of work, organized into programs, projects and work streams within agreed time, cost, quality, risk and benefit profiles, delivered within standards and controls framework
  • Identify signs that a project may be at risk and take appropriate action
  • Mobilize and lead teams composed of a mixture of staff and suppliers across organizational boundaries and the natural team.
  • Develop skills of team members through coaching, delegation and provide challenges to grow
  • Ensure that the business value intended by the work is explicit, agreed and delivered
  • Plan, execute, monitor, control, and close all aspects of the project lifecycle and experience with Project Delivery Framework (PDF) methodology and other standards
  • Should be able to manage/work in team(s) of up to 20 team members
  • Build and leverage relationships with sponsors, Program Leads and key stakeholders and understand their priorities. 
  • Resolve conflict and deliver tough messages with grace
  • Create and deliver relevant and impactful communications for project or work stream stakeholders
  • Understand changes necessary to balance execution efficiency with risk mitigation, value delivery, cost, quality and benefits
  • Understand program or project goals and business context at all stages of the lifecycle, and particularly when responding to challenges and change. 
  • Execute chosen methodology for project or work stream to maximize delivery effectiveness
  • Support program leadership or the natural team to enable the project team to collaborate effectively with business IT, the impacted businesses, wider stakeholders both internally and externally, resolving issues such as financing, risk, resourcing, integrated planning and long-term management of any resulting products and services where appropriate



Required Qualifications:


  • A strong and demonstrated interest in consulting, specifically in thinking through large and complex engagements
  • Base knowledge in business strategy, marketing, finance, operations, and data analysis techniques
  • 5 to 12 years of work experience, with 4 to 10 years of Project Management experience in handling/contributing to large-scale projects (preferably IT Projects)
  • Experience in both Agile and Waterfall program delivery methodologies
  • Leadership qualities, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to mentor team-members
  • Willingness and ability to take initiative and learn independently
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Cross functional domain knowledge (Finance, IT, Legal, HR, Marketing)
  • Experience in Telecom industry and projects is preferred
  • Strong technical background; experience in digital platforms is preferred
  • Excellent communication, presentation and persuasion skills
  • Entrepreneurial mind-set with abilities like analytical and critical thinking, business development and stakeholder management
  • Project Management certifications like PMP®, Prince 2 and Agile certifications like CSM is preferred
  • Willingness for long term international or domestic travel
