The team
Our Cloud Engineering team focuses on enabling our client’s end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, with opportunities in the areas of: Cloud Strategy, Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration & APIs, Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services. We help our clients see the transformational capabilities of Cloud as an opportunity for business enablement and competitive advantage.
Cloud Engineering supports our clients as they improve agility and resilience, and identifies opportunities to reduce IT operations spend through automation by enabling Cloud. We accelerate our clients towards a technology-driven future, leveraging vendor solutions and Deloitte-developed software products, tools, and accelerators.
Job Description and Key Skills
Work with customer technical leads, client managers, and partners to plan and deliver successful implementations of cloud migration projects becoming a trusted advisor to decision makers throughout the engagement.
• Work with Google GCP specialists, product and engineering teams to package best practices and lessons learned into solutions and published assets.
• Interact with Google Cloud sales, partners, and customer technical stakeholders to manage migration scope, priorities, deliverables, risks/issues, and timelines for successful migrations.
• Design solution architectures and perform the deployment of cloud based distributed virtualized infrastructure solutions according to customer requirements and implementation best practices.
Minimum qualifications
You must meet these minimum qualifications :
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7-10 years of experience on any major CSP: Cloud infrastructure design, network architecture design & implementation, Cloud security, logging & monitoring
• Hands-on experience in at least two or more disciplines : GKE migration, GCVE migration, CloudBuild & Cloud Run, VM migration to GCE,
• Hands-on experience in writing Infrastructure-as-code using terraform scripting
• Excellent verbal & written communication in English.
Additional qualificationsHaving as many of these specific qualifications is a plus :
• 7 years of experience client-facing roles, troubleshooting technical issues, and working with engineering/sales teams/customers.
• Customer facing cloud migration experience, including service discovery, assessment, planning, execution, and operations
