Opportunity :

Deloitte is actively hiring for Project Managers /Business Analysts experienced in the Banking domain and Digital Transformation initiatives, specifically in the areas of Retail Banking - Wealth Management (incl. Asset Management). Associate will need to have a minimum of seven years of Business Analysis experience to be eligible for the role.

The role holders shall be deployed with one of Deloitte’s leading global banking clients responsible for world class strategic transformation of Retail banking through smart execution. Deloitte engages as a strategic partner with their clients to envision world class cutting edge digital capabilities enabling them to digitize at scale and simplify the lives of their end customers.

Transformation Managers/Business Analysts lead design activities and operating model definition and are at the centre of Business Change (Digital Delivery) function. Primarily, the Transformation Managers/ Business Analyst will be responsible for managing and executing the analysis activity within one or more of the priority programmes. They will lead multi skilled teams responsible for the Requirements Management, Design, Change Management and Implementation Management activities during project delivery. Transformation Managers/ Business Analysts often act as experts across multiple projects and programmes simultaneously, guiding the teams on their approach to Requirements Management and analysis Transformation Managers/ Business Analyst’s shall also oversee Change Management activities spanning from early change planning and audience analysis; through to designing and delivering change interventions (e.g. communications, training, support, organization alignment); and tracking and taking actions on change readiness, adoption, and feedback.

 

Role Description:

  • Supports and guides the Product Owner to create/evolve Product roadmap, creation of epics and writing of user stories and managing the product backlog
  • Create analysis of customer journeys and product functionality
  • Engages with senior technology project and technology program managers as well as product owners
  • Ensure all requirements are aligned to strategic data models and operating model and all exceptions are duly recorded and ratified.
  • Supports the program management with impact assessment for change requests on design, scope, time, budget or effort on program plan and provides accurate estimates for handling new requirements, design changes and scope
  • Ensure all requirements have suitable benefits associated with it and full traceability on ownership of requirement and success criteria for each requirement
  • Perform and formally document in-depth  impact assessment of proposed changes on processes, data and systems.
  • Work with transformation lead and wider project team to ensure the change initiatives, linked to the Transformation program, are pushed through to completion.
  • Drives adoption of the best practices across the BA community
  • Drives adoption of the best practices across the BA community
  • Is expected to work with end client business stakeholders (global experience is added advantage), transformation colleagues and technology teams while delivering requirements on the assigned programs Should have experience and be comfortable working in Agile environment – Adept in scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, delivery, retrospectives), lead demos, aid in story grooming and release planning with Product Owners. Certification is an added advantage.  Should be familiar with Jira
  • Is expected to have hands-on experience in requirements management with end business users - requirement gathering and impact analysis
  • Should have experience in writing Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD) and Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
  • Should have experience in process mapping, gap analysis and developing increment processes. Prior experience in mapping processes on MS Visio is an added advantage
  • Should have hands-on experience in writing User Stories
  • Experience in Target Operating Model (TOM) assessment / design is an advantage
  • Should be able to demonstrate experience of working with development and testing teams during the development lifecycle
  • Demonstrate good communication, articulation, and stakeholder management skills 
  • Should be able to articulate change management experience
  • Domain Experience:

Retail Banking:

    • Knowledge of Retail Banking customer journeys (acquisition, onboarding, engagement and servicing)
    • Digital transformation experience with retail banking products –Wealth Management (Asset Management, Middle and Back Office Transformation), and Cash Management
    • Experience in process mapping (as-is and to-be) and impact analysis
